Get Ivy Ready

Hey Guys!
Cue the back to school commercials, back to school season is upon us. For most of us, we are already back in school, hitting the books. Today, I am sharing a simple look with you guys. I am wearing a Harvard shirt, jeans and my birkenstocks. If you are in college, plan accordingly by wearing your schools shirt. Rep your school and be comfortable. It's a win-win.
If you are still in high-school, wear your favorite colleges shirts. This is also is a win-win as you can tour the school (yay!) and make sure you stop by the bookstore to pick up a shirt (a must!). You can also wear Norts instead of jeans, which is always a good idea.
Enjoy!

5 Reasons You Need An Agenda

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing about two of my favorite things; agendas and Lilly Pulitzer! I love using an agenda and this is my first year using a Lilly one. I will be sharing
5 Reasons You Need An Agenda
along with tips and reasons!
1) Setting Goals. Its very important to set goals for yourself whether its for school, work or an extracurricular activity. This will help you visual and stick to a plan to achieve these goals. Sometimes, life gets so busy, its hard to see the end goal in sight. Write them down, work on them.
2) Increase Productivity. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has logged onto Pinterest to see very inspiring planners and organization. Using an agenda will ensure you write down all you need to do. It's important to write it all done, so you never don't have a thing to do..or better yet get it all done and celebrate!
3) Feel Less Stressed. Visually seeing what you have to do will reduce stress. Writing a to-do will motivate you to cross something off your list resulting in less stress. Also, getting your thoughts onto paper will keep your thoughts less cluttered.
4) No Technology Distractions. I highly recommend using a traditional planner over your phone or laptop. I find that if I write a to-do list on my phone, I wind up visiting a few other apps, rather than just reading the list.
5) Organize Future Events. It's important to mark down future events so you stay on top of things. If you know you have a big test, it's helpful to plan ahead of how you will study for it.
With an agenda, its all about time management, increasing productivity and staying organized!

Enjoy!

Touring The University of Florida

Hello Everyone!
Going on a road trip has to be one of my most favorite things to do. Today, my family and I took a few hour road trip up to Gainesville, Florida to tour the University of Florida. This was my first college visit and I had a blast! The campus is just gorgeous and the atmosphere is amazing! The town surrounding it just as wonderful. I had the opportunity to look at the fraternity and sorority houses. This only heightened my excitement to be apart of a sorority when the time comes. The houses were stunning. Outside the Phi Mu house, which was pink (yes pink!), there was alumni and their daughters taking pictures. I absolutely loved it, it embodied everything you would wish for in a college experience.
As for my outfit, my shorts are from Gap. My shirt is from Crown and Ivy. My bracelets are from Lilly and Laura and my shoes are my Birkenstocks (wear comfortable shoes the campus is a beautiful 2,000 acres).

Go Gators!

Enjoy!

Back To School Checklist

It's that time of year again, back to school season! Today, I am sharing with you guys my essentials including supplies, outfit and everything in between. I have a corresponding Youtube video to this which is linked down below. I had a blast filming this and a huge thank you to my mother for filming this. She is a huge supporter in all I do which makes her the best 'momager'.  She also captured some beautiful moments while we were exploring Mount Dora.

Enjoy!
