Southern Striped Fall Outfit

Hello Guys!
As much as we want to be able to bundle up with layers and layers, the weather is just not ready quite yet. Whether your transitioning into cooler weather, or cooler weather is not your future *cough* the South.  Regardless, I absolutely love this outfit! To me, it is straight from my fall Pinterest board. My striped dress is from Dilliards as well as my boots. My bracelets are Alex and Ani. I dutch braided my hair, which adds to the fall feel. Dutch braiding your hair is hard to learn, but once you do, it will become your go-to hairstyle. I hope the weather drops at least ten degrees in the next few days. Oh, a Florida Girl can dream!
Enjoy!

It's Pumpkin Spice Everything Season

Hello Everyone!
Fall is my favorite season for so many reasons. The weather is beautiful and fall is home to some of my favorite months and holidays. Cable knit sweaters, bean boots and leggings, come to mind when I think of fall fashion. When I have time in fall, I love to put on fuzzy socks, download a book on my Kindle, and sip a hot cup of tea.
To celebrate the first day of fall (September 22, 2016), there are several things you can do! I know I'm not the only one who loves the Pillsbury pumpkin cookies. They are the cutest size and taste delicious. Whenever I am at my grocery store, I always stop to see if they have them. I won't lie, the other day, when I saw them for the first time, I may have ran over to them as a child visiting Disney for the first time runs to the princesses. They bake in no time and are the perfect treat while doing your homework.
The next thing you can do is have something pumpkin flavored! I know everyone loves the PSL from Starbucks, but that's not the only fall flavored item. Several other coffee restaurants serve pumpkin drinks, most of the time for cheaper. If your looking to make/purchase these items yourself, there are pumpkin creme cookies from Publix, pumpkin tea, basically, it's pumpkin spice everything season.
The last thing you can do, is something I try to do everyday. I know we are all so very busy. But, I encourage you to start a new habit this Thursday for fall. Stop, take a moment and just enjoy the present. Take a walk outside. Play with your dog in the backyard. Look up at the trees and admire there leaves. Do this for a few minutes a day, and I promise you will be more productive. I challenge you all to do it for 21 days, just the time it takes to form a habit!
I hope you all enjoy the first day of fall! Fall is a time of new beginnings so seize the opportunity.
Enjoy!

Fueled By Coffee and Jesus

Hello Friends!
It's no secret. If your a busy student, your going to need some caffeine to keep you going. I've always been a tea drinker but I find some cons with that. First off, must tea has no caffeine, and if it does, it's not enough to wake me up. Secondly, it makes me tired. I think it just because sipping chamomile tea, is very relaxing which makes me quite sleepy. With this said, I just recently started drinking coffee. For first time coffee drinkers, I suggest getting a flavored coffee. Also, brew it over ice for a nicer taste. I also add my favorite coconut milk. The coffee blend I've been loving lately, is a Pumpkin Spice blend. I think this is the perfect blend and flavor for this time of year. Coffee is enough to wake me up, get me going and get my day started. However, beware as sometimes coffee can make you too jittery. Needless to say, coffee is truly a hug in a mug. Thanks for always being there for us coffee. Students all around the globe love and appreciate you.
I don't know if it's just me, but I love mugs! They are the perfect touch to my morning 'aesthetic'. I have several much loved mugs including my Anthropology mug, my NatureLife Mug, and my "Like a Boss" mug from Walmart. I got it for a steal! Mugs are just such a cute touch to your morning!

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

Hi Guys!
Today I will being sharing with you guys a spoiler free synopsis and review on the book Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon.

Synopsis:
Madeline is allergic to everything. She lives in room reading books, and her only interaction with her teachers, her mother and her nurse, Carla. She becomes friends with the boy next door, and the two  start I'Ming. Olly and her both come from different lives, but how will their friendship survive through Madeline's bubble and Olly's home-life?

Review:
This book is a mix between The Fault in Our Stars, and every other contemporary novel. It had the cutesy, romantic factor but lacked substance. This was rather a fast read, but it felt really rushed, especially towards the end. The formatting was rather nice, with some little doodles which was interesting take on a YA novel. Some parts overcompensated for the parts that lacked detail. I would have loved to have seen background information on both characters and an ultimate plot line. Commonsensemedia puts this book at ages 13+.
Three out of five stars.
