November Central Perk

Hello Coffee Lovers!
Today, I am sharing my coffee thoughts for November. I have had several types in the past few weeks, and am excited to share my reviews and stories with you.
Dunkin' Donuts: I will be starting off with a coffee that has a bit of a story. So, my mother and I have been getting Starbucks for the last few days and wanted to try something new. We went to Dunkin' Donuts and unfortunately had a rather poor experience. My mom "took one for the central perk" and tried the coffee. We ordered two small, regular coffees with almond milk. My mom has been drinking coffee for over 20 years, so her opinion is incredibly important and valid. She said the coffee was horrible, as it was bitter, watery and overall unpleasant. We both know Dunkin' Dounts makes an excellent cup of coffee, and has a high standard. However, this was a unfortunate experience.
Starbucks Carmel Brûlée Latte: So, because of the Florida weather, I usually get iced coffee. I did try this latte iced, and I have mixed feelings. It tastes more of a candy bar with a bit of coffee than a solid cup of coffee. Although I did enjoy the iced version, it was not my favorite. I tried this latte hot and it tasted like the holiday season. A bit of a hyperbole yes, but it is amazing! Again, not a full on coffee taste, but the flavor is so bold and delicious, I can't help but enjoy it.
Starbucks Chestnut Praline Latte: My mom has been getting this latte. She loves it, but agrees with me that we both have been desiring a bold, hot cup of coffee.
Panera Salted Carmel Coffee: How did we end up here you may ask? My mom and I decided to get this coffee because we hoped this would be that cup of coffee we were looking for. We both wanted to be able to make a pot of coffee, and go back for a second (or third cup). I can gladly say, this is that perfect cup of coffee. I suggested that we get something with caramel in it because I enjoy the iced caramel macchiato. This coffee was so very good, that we refilled our cup a few times.

"You like coffee?" "Only with my oxygen!!"
If you know where this quote is from, go have a cup of coffee to celebrate ;)

Red Cup Season

Hello Everyone!
As most of you know November 10th marked the beginning of winter, well not officially but red cups returned to Starbucks. As most of you know, I love coffee and Starbucks. My newest coffee recommendations will be in the November Central Perk so be on the look out for that. From November 10- 14 from 2-5 pm you can get a holiday drink for you and one for a friend (It's Buy One Get One Free)! If you are a gold star member, it is extended an extra hour until 6:00pm. I tried the Carmel Brûlée Latte both hot and iced. My in depth thoughts will be in the November Central Perk, but both were amazing!! They have three different flavors which you can get iced, hot, or as a frappuccino. My mom tried the Chestnut Praline Latte, and she loved it as well. I have been preferring hot coffee to iced coffee, as the weather has changed ( for the colder ) and the flavors are much bolder.
So, let's talk about the cups. They are designed beautifully, and there are 13 different cups. Twelve for hot drinks, and one for iced. As I am typing this, I am actually at Starbucks with a friend. It is so nice to grab a cup of coffee, and get work done. The red cups are not only Instagram worthy, but a great fall/winter drink.
Enjoy!

Soup and Good Company

Hello Everyone!
The weather in Florida is quite the puzzle. In the morning, it's cool, in the middle of the day, its an oven, and at night it cools down again. I went on a picnic the other day and my phone overheated so much it told me it wouldn't work until it cooled down. Well, that's Florida weather for you!
My mom and I decided to get butternut squash soup for dinner, and enjoy the Florida weather by sitting outside. We had a small piece of bread on the side. We are actually eating vegan right now, so I will be updating you all soon on how it's going! I went vegan this summer for a few weeks and loved it. My mom and I both are enjoying eating vegan and this was no exception.
I really enjoyed the time, and am so glad I could spend it with such great company, shoutout to you mom! Before this, my mom and I grabbed a cup of coffee. Both of our thoughts will be shared in the November Central Perk, so look out for that. As far of my thoughts on the soup; it was delicious!
Have a great weekend!
Enjoy!
